At first we wanted to go Chinatown to have some chinese food, but we ended up in Banana leaf having Thai because Vidya sprained her ankle and wasn’t able to walk much. So we decided to go somewhere near her office.

On typical mundane days, I thought Wednesday would be the same too. But it didn’t. It was a long day to begin with.

Started my day at 5.50am after managed to sleep for 4-5 hours of sleep.

Got a couple of news with regards to changes on my bookings…something that I have no control over with. So just had to deal with it.

What else could be worse…what about drop a bottle of cayenne pepper on the floor and create a huge mess in the kitchen?

Anyway, cut the story short. At the end of the day, I found me hugging the washer pleading for it work.

In a day like this, I’m sure I’m allowed a HUGE slice of carrot cake.

The free movie squat is in action again. This time at Vue to watch romantic comedy. Verdict, just like any other romantic comedy: Don’t watch in cinema!! Wait until it’s on your cable (or even local TV station). Anyway, that’s not the whole point. The dinner that comes after is the fun part. We went to this Malaysian opened restaurant just across the street, call Chop. And this is what we got:

Tonight’s winner: Laksa

1st Runner up: Char Keoy Teow

2nd runner up: Curry Fried Rice

3rd runner up: Char Siew Kuay Teow Soup

last: “wat tan” ho (that has no wat tan)

And to my surprise, I came back to see this dessert waiting for me….my beloved Carrot cake…

Coco Before Chanel

My first French movie on big screen. As the title suggested, the movie is about Coco’s life before building Chanel empire. Coco’s “love” life to be precise which means most of the time she is rolling around in bed with men and showing very little on how she build her empire. She almost have very little “other aspects” in her life apart from her bed rolling activities. Of course, her bed rolling was one of the major factor of her success, but I feel 70% of the movies spent on bed rolling is a bit too much……

With nothing much to do recently, we decided to go Asadal. Mainly because of my craving for Bimbimbab (rice in hot stone bowl). We were seated in a very dark corner and I was struggling to get pictures. Anyway, I managed to get these.

A Pleasant Surprise

When I thought my life is mundane and predictable (at least for the past 5+months in 2009) I received a surprised parcel from someone that knows me too well!!! All of them my favorite and I have a hard time to decide which one should I start with. In the end, I chosed Mimi. Mimi reminded me of the time we shared together when we were 12. Yipeee!! One day Greenwich outing with great food. We (well it was I who wanted to eat this) decided to go chinese this weekend. Had been craving this for quite some time. It’s soo near my new place, I can see that I will be a regular here. >:) hehehe
